JUNIOR SEASON: Omar Haugabook started every game, and took almost every snap, for the Trojans at quarterback...Completed 241-of-393 passes for 2,401 yards and 21 touchdowns to go with 17 interceptions ...Finished the season with a 121.62 passer rating... Was also the teams’ second leading rusher, carrying the ball 140 times for 313 yards and five scores... Averaged 208.8 all-purpose yards per game for the year ...His top passing performance came against Florida Atlantic in his hometown of Boca Raton when he completed 20-of-29 passes for 325 yards and three scores to earn Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Week honors ...Completed a season-high 30 passes in Troy’s dramatic come-from-behind victory over Middle Tennessee, including two for late touchdowns to help steal the victory ...Attempted a season-high 46 passes in the Trojans’ heartbreaking loss at Florida State ...Threw for four touchdowns in a game twice, in the season-opener against Alabama State and in the New Orleans Bowl against Rice... Completed 176 of 309 passes for 2,425 yards and 21 TDs in 2005 while also rushing 80 times for 223 yards and two scores ... Was named first team All-Conference, conference MVP, and second team junior college All-American ... As a freshman he completed 172 of 330 passes for 2,627 yards and 23 scores while rushing 75 times for 347 yards and two touchdowns.


PREP SCHOOL: Was a first team All-State selection in 2003 after completing 183 of 265 passes for 3,010 yards and 30 touchdowns ... The 30 TD passes rank sixth all-time single season in Florida High School history ... He was named the Player of the Year in 2003 by both the Ft. Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel and the Palm Beach County Sports Commission, which annually awards the Lou Groza Award to the top kicker in college football ... Was recruited in high school by Syracuse, East Carolina, South Florida and Mississippi State.

PERSONAL: Omar is the son of Deborah West and has a brother, Travis Salter, who is 12 ... Was recruited to Troy by Tony Franklin and chose the Trojans over Marshall ... Is a criminal justice major.
